Colin Butts Colin Butts is an English writer and author, mainly in popularist youth orientated works. Butts founded Tuesday Morning Publishing to publish his own novel ''Is Harry On the Boat?'' in 1997, and sold 20,000 copies from his garage. It was then taken on by Orion Publishing and went on to become a six-figure best seller. The book was made into a film, giving Danny Dyer his first lead role after a 15-year-old Lily Allen read it and showed it to her mother, film producer Alison Owen of Ruby Films. Ruby Films and Rapido TV then went on to produce the 2002/3 series for Sky One. He wrote a sequel called Is Harry Still on the Boat? and another Ibiza based novel called ''A Bus Could Run You Over''. Colin then changed his focus to scriptwriting, being in part mentored by Paul Abbott and cutting his teeth writing six episodes for the final series of Sky One's football based drama: Dream Team. Butts lives in Ibiza where he is part owner of Plastik, a bar that has been hugely influential in improving the quality and perception of the much-maligned San Antonio.〔(BBC - Mid Wales Hay on Wye - Hay Festival Wish List ) 〕 ==References==
